2. Use of the Site
DevOps Start publishes educational content about DevOps, cloud, and infrastructure engineering. You may read, link to, and share our articles freely. You may not scrape the site at abusive rates, attempt to disrupt its availability, or misrepresent our content as your own.
3. Technical Content Disclaimer
Our articles contain commands, configuration, and code intended for educational purposes. Always review and test instructions in a safe environment before applying them to production systems. We are not responsible for outages, data loss, or costs resulting from applying anything published on this site.
4. Intellectual Property
Article text, images, and site design are the property of DevOps Start unless otherwise noted. Code snippets within articles may be used freely in your own projects, attribution appreciated but not required. Republishing entire articles without permission is not allowed.
5. DevOps Start Reddit App
We operate an official app on Reddit's developer platform (Devvit) that shares our articles in our own community, r/DevOpsStartCom. The app:
- Reads only our own public article feed (devopsstart.com/rss.xml).
- Submits link posts to communities where it has been installed by their moderators.
- Does not collect, store, or process any personal data of Reddit users.
- Does not interact with user content (no comments on user posts, no votes, no messages).
Use of Reddit itself is governed by Reddit's own User Agreement.
6. No Warranty
The site and the app are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee the site or app will be uninterrupted or error-free.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DevOps Start shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or the app.
